The RÖDER HTS HÖCKER GmbH, HOMESHOW "TENT-EXPO" 2008 was held between 29/10/08 - 01/11/08 in Wächtersbach, Germany.The annual show attracts current and potential customers from around the globe - this year’s show attracted 1,800 individuals over the 4 day event.

This years show featured a 3-story "triple-deck" structure for the main hospitality structure as well various display structures available from across the wide range of structures and accessory products available from RÖDER HTS HÖCKER - including specialist event rental tents, storage & industrial structures, the launch of our world exclusive alloy/carbon structure and accessories including hard and glass walling systems, flooring systems and more...

All visitors to the expo enjoyed our famous complimentary hospitality package over the event, as well as informative guided tours of our extensive head-office & production facility - all visitors to the show also were able to take advantage of special "show-only" discounts available on any of our products.

RÖDER HTS & HÖCKER GmbH recently exhibited at the annual Showman's Show exhibition held in Newbury, England. The main structure was a 20.00m span by 30.00m RÖDER HTS PREMIUM-LINE Structure featuring a curved roof, 4.00m side height, suspended cassette flooring system, solid ABS wall panels, double glazed laminated full height windows, with integral entrance canopies.  Inside a range of smaller structures - were showcased including Pagodas, curved and standard “A” framed structures from both the RÖDER HTS & HÖCKER product lines.

The glass panelled front and rear of the structure was key in creating a bright, informal ‘business’ environment where visitors could come in and browse without fear of being approached instantly by a sales person.  Structures and fittings displayed inside the main stand allowed visitors plenty to ‘touch and feel’, whilst plasma screens displayed technical data, and point of sale literature was freely available.

So was it all worth it?
Giles Hill, Director of RÖDER HTS HÖCKER GMBH says, “Absolutely. The level of interest and enquiry this year was actually quite surprising given the economic doom and gloom that is seemingly all around us.  Our regular customers are still buying which shows the demand for innovative structures in the event industry is still buoyant.”

As a clear example of this, Accio Marquees & Events bought the 20.00m by 30.00m Premium Structure on display for several events they have already in the calendar for 2009.

RÖDER HTS HÖCKER has won the contract to design, manufacture and install what ranks as probably the world’s largest temporary structure. Our innovative and detailed proposal was selected as the preferred choice by the South Australian Motor Sport Board.

This contract win, reflected a hugely successful team effort which involved our Australian team, headed by Roger Makin, with technical support from divisional export director Veronika von Ballestrem and chief designer Heiko Heilman based at the HTS head-office.

"We are delighted to have been awarded this hugely prestigious contract. It is almost certainly the largest structure ever designed and sets a new benchmark of the innovative reputation of our company," said Heinz Röder, CEO of RÖDER HTS HÖCKER GmbH.

This unique world beating structure known, as the PIT PAVILLION, will be used exclusively for the CLIPSAL 500 V8 Super Cars race held at Victoria Park, Adelaide, South Australia in March 2008. This premier event attracts huge crowds of supporters with last year’s race meeting being attended by over 290,000 people over the four day event.

The three storey structure has a span width of 16.00m and measures 200.00m in length with a bay distance of 5.00m. The ground level incorporates pit garages for of the 40 V8 Supercar teams with an additional two levels which cater for corporate hospitality areas, operational offices and viewing areas. This technically advanced structure features a combination of vertical and slanted glass walling sections, energy efficient thermo roofs combined with a curved roof design making it both functional and aesthetically attractive.

RODER HTS HOCKER GmbH recently attended the HIRA (Hire And Rental Association) exhibition held on the Gold Coast, Australia. The show was held between 05/05/08 – 07/05/08 and attracted customers from across Australia and New Zealand. Both the indoor and external displays generated great interest from both current and potential customers who were all pleased to see the factory direct team back supporting the Australian / NZ market.

Customers had the opportunity to view products from both the RODER HTS & HOECKER product lines including P-SERIES & F-SERIES standard "A" Frame & Curved rafter structures, glass walling, ABS walling, door units, flooring systems, and Pagoda structures.
